About 2 weeks ago, I had 2 amazing back to back weddings. One I already posted and this is the 2nd one. I was very excited to go back to Indian Creek Country Club after a beautiful wedding we covered there in December… I love shooting there. We also made a stop at Vizcaya for some editorial images. We had about 2 hours to kill and I can shoot…if you have time I have shots :)

Anyway, here are some of my favorites. Make sure to check out the slideshow. Also wanted to thank Ryan and Candace for the great help that weekend.

Beautiful gown by Reem Acra. Why do I know so much about gowns?

I love when I find details like this one. It says so much about the bride and her special day.

Carolyn looked stunning… that goes without saying, but I did anyway ;)

So did Matthew, posing here in tasty back light.

Look at that expression…you know exactly what he is looking at.

After the church we all went to Vizcaya for some super cool imagery.

Very nice….

Baby Isabella

Categorized under: Baby

So this weekend I tried again to approach what I believe to be the most difficult area of photography… 2 week old babies! I shot Francesca & Christians wedding back in 2006. So now here is Isabella. 25 minutes later we were finished but not without consequences. We got burped on, peed on 2 or 3 times (I lost count) and I think we heard a loud fart (but that could have been Christian). Who is next?

All kidding aside, we had a blast, but I do give the highest respect to those who shoot babies (and do it well) it is very hard. I promise I will get better, here are some of my favorites.

Nice family portrait

I love this shot.

You guys seem to like animations so here is another one.

Michelle & Steve, married

When: April 25, 2008 • Where: Little Flower Church & Vizcaya, Coral GablesEngagement: Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
I am finally getting to post about this amazing wedding we covered at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens about 2 weeks ago. This was a last minute wedding commission for me that we booked in March. When I met with Michelle and Steve I had a feeling they knew what they were looking for and I think they found the right shooter for the job. We shot the engagement shoot only a few weeks before the wedding at Vizcaya as we would not have much daylight to work with during the wedding.

Thank you for making us part of your amazing wedding day. Here are a few of my favorites.

At first Michelle was nervous but I then I worked some “magic” with her.

I love this shot. So many amazing spots at the Biltmore Hotel

Not a jewish wedding but you can’t go wrong with doing the chair lifting thing, it sure makes a fun image

Hola and happy 5 de mayo

Categorized under: Personal

I’m back from NYC where I had a very productive weekend shooting a small wedding in Brooklyn and a few more cool street projects that I will be blogging about shortly. I love going to NY but its always nice to be back home. I think I walked more than I wanted.

I thought it is very appropriate to post a cute image of my 2 chi chi’s Rocky and Sushi (on top). If you go drinking today, do it responsibly.
